A very little short break in Central park.in time for late fall.

I jumped back to google apis and found something interesting.
Openal: this might help in terms of audio and space.

Everything’s turn off with my laptop, at least my blog’s barely alive

For my final project, I always wanted to do something related to music and distance(Maybe using GPS and bluetooth?)
It’s always a question whether I should build a fun game or something’s really useful.
I thought I wanna build a music game that allow a group of people to log in and enjoy playing sound like a life band when they are in the same space. But then it comes to something that is using similar concept, how about tracking several objects that you lost all the time, and use sound to point out the right diection? For example, there might be a menu that allow you to choose from:

1. a specifit position(such as subway stations) in map using GPS.
2. other people who connect their phone/device to GPS and allow you to track their location in real time.
3. somewhere you just walk by and wanna mark the position and come back later.

Therefore for example, I don’t have to check the map all the time and will know which way is the right way when I’m getting
close or when I just have to know whether the subway station is one block down south or two blocks down north, and where the uptown entrance is somewhere closer than I thought.

It’s gonna be useful for people who’s lazy enough to watch map all the time when they almost know where they are heading
and still hate to mistaken the direction.(especially when it’s a long avenue..)

ha, so ideally, here is the possible process:

1. user phone—>gps—>knows where the user is
2. user setting the target–>gps–>knows where the target is
3. caculate and update the distance of 1. and 2.
4. when the distance is less than 50 meter(not set yet, but should be within visual distance), your phone sing a song
of course it can sing all kind of song that tell the user how far away it is soon as it knows the distance..

Well, I have no idea if there’s any better way to do this, or simply how far I can do for now. But I hope it’s doable,
and I will start spending time. It would be really great to hear from any other voices:)

Well., I try not to complain about my cute little old IBM too much,
cause it might have some feeling and never listen to me any more.

I guess people changes,
I used to write paper that discuss how internet fake the truth of reality,
when once upon a time I believed living without computers makes life simple in a good way.
But recently I just realized how annoy it is to run everything slower..
I still enjoy those moments in central park though,
but knowing and expecting to go back to my laptop soon.
Now life with computer is more life reality.
How wierd..
well, celebrating for getting online again and have endless downloading…

The summer is passing and I got exactly few minutes to think abou it…

Every night when I go back to my apartment,
no matter it's a little bit earlier than 11 or a little bit later such as 1:30,
My new roomate is always gone, with the bathroom remain shutted.
There r couple of times that I stay in my space until one or two hours passed
and I finally feel like using it….for natural needs:D
can't even go to bathroom in my own place, funny isn't it..

I get to be prepared and remember to go p right before getting into my apartment,
and I got to realize that if I go back home from 12-2 am, I won't get to change my clothes, take a bath, or simply be ready for the bed.

So I have a funny thought,
Why not making a record for her? 

today, May 24,
11:20       I got back home, she's inside bathroom
12:00       She went out and ask if I need to use bathroom cause she wanna
               take a shower
1:10        She finished the showler and came tell me that I can use it now

well, it's actually fine, right…

I'm sorry, since it's summer, i get to see funny things more than serious matters..
I'm in think coffee, there's a funny couple laughting in a funny way, the guy's an old latino, the girl's a super hottie,they are flirting somehow but only makes them look funnier…they suddenly left or I will take a pic and post it online

that will make my words more convincing..><

gosh, it's a boring post.

and I don't get it, why r they hiring those very cute guys and very normal girls..
do they think female consumer r more emotional in terms of their taste in coffee?

I know I'm being bad and thinking too much

nonono, i meant that it is supposed to feel like summer, now that we've got all the vacation, space, time,and again, times…

I guess I'm confused, for not remaining a busier life, for not bumping into my itp pals,
or simply, for not knowing the exact place i'm at right this moment.

I'm alone, mostly because I enjoy being free and i'm good at sensing funny things happening around, i got friends at places such as starbucks and  the new think coffee…

 but sometimes I feel so wired about it, i've been leavning my home and family for 2 years,
 despite the truth that my parents do call me everyday, and the fact that these 2 years  was racing incredibly fast that I didn't even struggle to remeber, or to forget..

But I understand that the same amount of time could pass really slow for some of them, and we will all change although nobody noticed…

well, i think i'm getting old, for murmuring this..
wishing me a nice people no matter where life take me to …

想用lsystem寫出加彈出可以表達清楚音樂種類的樂譜
或是可以說幾句話就讓程式跑出可以表達心情的音樂
刻意想把線性和感覺的東西量化的結果
總覺得有點太鑽牛角尖…
好像這種東西 一手彈彈幾個旋律要容易許多…

有點懶 發現無論做什麼 還是不能只為做而做
要對生活實際有幫助

anyway,所以我想到了最近心情一直不好
因為發生一些事情
某人膽敢不回信
以前再怎樣 有文字作武器 現在的英文真是糟到只能隨便講   言不及義 沒有廣度沒有深度
只有高準確的猜測度..得以在哈啦中繼續生存…

所以 總之 我知道要怎樣了
要擁抱從前  才會知道現在應該在哪裡
是這樣子的吧:)

I think that is because it is designed by a small group of people, and the library the system refer to is not well developed. To know more about interpersonal communication, researches related to Psychology, Human Emotions, and Linguistics are probably more important than the programming side.
